Market Research Executive Job Description


Job Overview
The purpose of the Market Research Executive is to assist the Market Research Manager in the delivery of qualitative and quantitative market research, competitor, data analysis as well as recommendations to support the development of go-to-market strategies.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Compile market overviews, competitor profiles and competitor activity mapping to support the development of go-to-market strategies
- Interpret and analyse data, market metrics and intelligence, write and prepare reports and make actionable recommendations
- Assist in ensuring that all insight, including research and evaluation projects fit and inform the overall business strategy
- Coordinate and gather customer insight across key project areas on an organisation-wide

Skills / Attributes Required
- A degree or equivalent marketing qualification (e.g. CIM)
- Proven experience of creating and developing or conducting online survey, focus groups and any other research channels
- Ability to compile market overviews, competitor profiles and undertake robust competitor activity mapping
- Ability to coordinate and gather customer insight across key project areas and to offer recommendations for best practice
- Ability to undertake and commission primary, secondary research and stakeholder mapping
- Relevant project management experience

Typical Salary Range: £22,000 to £30,000
