Social Media Marketing Executive Job Description


Job Overview
A Social Media Marketing Executive is responsible for contributing to the Social Media Strategy and working to provide content for social media campaigns and blog posting activity, providing analysis of current campaigns and feeding the information to the Marketing and PR teams.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Contribute to and influence the direction of social media strategy
- Design and execute marketing campaigns
- Analyse and report on the search performance
- Provide an SEO prospective on content creation and social media
- Improve SEO of all company sites
- Analysis of competitor campaigns
- Regular KPI reporting
- Work closely with the SEO, online marketing and affiliate marketing teams to help co-ordinate all integrated online output

Skills / Attributes Required
-
A degree or equivalent marketing qualification (e.g. CIM)
- Proven experience within social media
- Strong editorial and verbal skills
- Ability to work flexible working patterns to meet the needs of the business
- Ability to continually improve and enhance the company’s social media output
- The ability to build and develop strong business relationships
- The ability to work as part of a talented team or on own initiative
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work in a fast paced, pressured environment
- A creative and energetic personality
- Strong presentation and negotiating skills

Typical Salary Range: £22,000 to £30,000
