Telemarketing Executive Job Description


Job Overview
A Telemarketing Executive is responsible for lead qualification generated by Marketing campaigns, data gathering and researching new prospects for the Sales team to action. Whilst primarily dealing with new business, research into customer satisfaction and perception will also form an important part of the role.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop lead opportunities by qualifying accounts and collecting information that includes names, titles, addresses, phone numbers, email, opt-ins, project teams, budget and competitive information
- To make outbound calls targeting your designated area to obtain qualified leads and book appointments for your sales team to generate new business
- To support sales team in calendar management, travel and itinerary preparation
- To follow up marketing campaigns and events to generate new prospect leads by telephone, identifying and qualifying opportunities for new business
- To attend sales meetings and generate reports
- Undertake research to identify new organisations and markets for the sales and marketing team to target
- Customer research to understand levels of satisfaction and perceptions of the Company, its products and services
- To build effective relationships with potential clients by use of appropriate questioning, clarification and language
- To speak positively and enthusiastically about the company and its products and services to ensure that a professional company and brand image is provided at all times to customers and colleagues
- Remain focused and work within strict time constraints whilst managing goals and objectives of multiple projects at the same time

Skills / Attributes Required
- A Marketing degree or equivalent qualification
- Proven experience within marketing
- Ability to work flexible working patterns to meet the needs of the business
- The ability to build and develop strong business relationships
- The ability to work as part of a talented team or on own initiative
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work in a fast paced, pressured environment

Typical Salary Range: £16,000 to £21,000
