Marketing Account Manager - Home Based

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Account Manager who has a background in PR and Marketing as this is not a raw sales role this is about networking, PR and influencing clients at the highest level. We are looking for someone ideally located between Glasgow and Edinburgh who can liaise with our clients stakeholders from local authorities and governmental bodies to our clients existing dairies and local schools and nurseries to assist with their needs.

The successful candidate will be the face of our client and their representation to their Scottish market and market influencers such as local authorities and government. This role is essentially that of an Account Manager with a very wide range of skills – a ‘Jack of all trades’. The role will be home based with flexible working hours.

The successful candidate will build relationships at a very high level from local authorities to government representatives and with their customers to maintain current business and engage with potential customers to gain new business. This role requires an outgoing personality with excellent communication and sales, PR and marketing background and experience; ready to utilise necessary aspects to successfully manage their accounts in Scotland.

Responsibilities / Skills required:

·         Account Management, PR and Marketing, Sales and Business Development experience

·         Diploma of Higher Education (Preferred)

·         Building relationships with current clients along with networking with potential clients

·         Knowledge and background (at any level of) PR and Marketing, sales and having managed accounts which have been varied requiring a wide range of skills.

·         Excellent communication and presentation skills

Who will suit the role?

The successful candidate will be educated to a graduate level and will have had at least some longevity employment experience in a similar Account Management role. They will need to have knowledge and background (at any level of) PR and Marketing, sales and having managed accounts which have been varied requiring a wide range of skills.

Salary / benefits:

£40,000 per annum, plus £5,000 car allowance

21 days holiday per annum (plus Bank Holidays)

Pension scheme after successful completion of probationary period

Location:

Home based somewhere between Glasgow and Edinburgh with travel to Lincoln once a month.
