Trainee Procurement Administrator

A candidate with a strong background in administration is required by a growing company in the medical sector for a position in their procurement team. The position will work alongside other stakeholders to ensure projects run smoothly and are to the quality standards set. Full training will be given and while experience in procurement would be useful it is by no means essential. Reporting into the senior management team the successful candidate will ensure the procurement function effectively supports the company.
A salary of up to £25,000 is available for the right candidate.
The position will be based out of Truro.
Any exposure to procurement within a medical environment would be useful but not essential.
A successful and growing company who have a terrific atmosphere and a very talented workforce.
Duties / Skills Required
- Administration experience
- Management of project information
- Obtain quotations, order placement and management of invoices
- Support of the onsite teams
- Supplier / Vendor management
- Monitoring and forecasting of upcoming demand

This is a superb position for an experienced Procurement Officer to join a growing company who look after their team. The ideal candidate will have good organisation and problem solving skills along with an ability to effectively communicate across different groups of stakeholders.
