With a third of employees admitting that benefits and perks are their top consideration before accepting a new job, what would be the best benefits package?
Naming a few, Huddle offers £5000 joining bonus as well as a gift worth £500 every year, Visualsoft offers unlimited holiday time and unmonitored flexitime and Pentland Brands provides an on-site swimming pool, gym, tennis court and football pitch.
The top 5 that I’ve seen are:
The software company gives employees a £5,000 joining bonus called a 'Huddle Cuddle', as well as a gift worth £500 every year.
The firm offers unlimited holiday time and unmonitored flexitime, allowing staff to take the time off that they need.
The firm takes all staff members away on annual, all-expenses-paid company holidays.

Opus Professional Services has a villa in Italy that employees can use free of charge whenever they want.

Pentland Brands provides an on-site swimming pool, gym, tennis court and football pitch.
Benefits and perks can be a great way to get employees interested in joining a company, however, a one off joining bonus of £5k can be very appealing but I feel there needs to be a balance between joining bonuses and incentives throughout the year. For me having the flexibility around working times, working from home and days off would be more useful. Most employers offer gym memberships so having a gym, swimming pool etc. would not really be a selling point for me in the long term.
